Johann Jacob (1580-1630), Count of Bronkhorst-Anholt, was a general in the armies of the German Catholic League, later field marshal. He fought against Christian of Brunswick at Busecker Thal (1621) and Stadtlohn (1623). Took Osnabrück and Wiedenbrück in 1626.
